Could 'Mary Minnelli' be the Broadway baby's baby? This one-woman show -- with sexy back-up dancers Donnell Williams and Joseph Schupbach -- is a vehicle for Mary to connect with the woman she believes to be her biological mother: Liza Minnelli. Actors Bill Connington, Juliette Bennett, and Anthony Haden-Guest, stars of the short film THE THORNHILLS OF PARK AVENUE, attended 'Isabella Rossellini: An Evening of Screenings and Conversation' on May 9 at the NYIT Theater, directly across from Lincoln Center, on Manhattan's Upper West Side. It was a special pre-festival event of the Gold Coast International Film Festival. GLEE follows an optimistic teacher (Matthew Morrison) who - against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach (Jane Lynch) - inspires McKinley High's Glee Club to conquer the world one singing competition at a time. GLEE stars Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Jessalyn Gilsig, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz. The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles (SCLA) continued the celebration of its 25th anniversary by holding its 21st Simply Shakespeare reading of 'The Merry Wives of Windsor.' The participants for this rhinestone-studded cast in a down-home evenin' that was more colorful than a clown at a rodeo included Christina Applegate, Kenneth Branagh, Faith Hill, Eric Idle, Arte Johnson, Eugene Levy, Tim McGraw, William Shatner, Martin Short, Tracey Ullman and the co-chairs of the event Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks, all of whom read one of Shakespeare's best known and beloved comedies.

THE BOOK OF MORMON features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. Parker and Stone are the four-time Emmy Award-winning creators of Comedy Central's landmark animated series, 'South Park'. Tony Award-winner Lopez is composer and co-creator of the long-running hit musical comedy, Avenue Q. Betwixt!, a comedy musical written and directed by Ian McFarlane, is to get a West End season at Trafalgar Studios 2 from Tuesday 26th July to Saturday 20th August.

This Thursday, after weeks of revisions and rehearsals for what has been dubbed SPIDER-MAN 2.0 - the overhauled version of the $70 million bohemoth SPIDER-MAN, TURN OFF THE DARK - opens once again for previews. Though the original version was marred by injuries, delays, and disastrous reviews, the creative team hopes to start with a clean slate.

Mumford graduate, Allee Willis, whose songs have sold over 50,000,000 copies, conducts her high school marching band through a medley of some of her greatest hits with the cast of her Tony nominated musical, The Color Purple, singing along. Songs include 'September', 'Boogie Wonderland', 'I'll Be There for You (Theme from Friends)', 'Neutron Dance', 'Stir It Up', 'In The Stone', and 'The Color Purple'. Mumford High School became famous in the movie, Beverly Hills Cop, when Eddie Murphy wore a Mumford Phys Ed T-shirt throughout the film. KVPAC's Encore Players wrap up final rehearsals this week in time to mount Dan Goggin's musical comedy sensation, Nunsense. Directed by Gregory Magyar, this 1986 Outer Critics' Circle Award Winner for Best Off-Broadway Musical will run two weekends, May 13-15 and 20-22, 2011. All shows begin at 8:00pm, except for Sunday's performances which are matinees and will begin at 2:00pm.

Only five couples remain to compete for the DANCING WITH THE STARS title! Why, then, was the show still two hours long? Well, that's due to this week being 'instant dance' week, in which the pairs choose what their second song will be from a random draw just before they go on and perform it.
