Known for her love of music, impeccable comedic timing and bold sense of style, Ross will once again take the stage to preside over an evening of nonstop musical magic and unforgettable moments. The "2018 American Music Awards," the world's largest fan-voted awards show, will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 8:00 p.m. EDT, on ABC.

Netflix today released the trailer and key art for REVERSING ROE—a new documentary film that takes a deep historical look at one of the most controversial issues of our time. Crazy Rich Asians won the Labor Day weekend box-office, taking in $28 million over the holiday weekend, the best gross for the weekend in over a decade and the third best ever. This weekend total also took the film past the $100 million mark. 

Jacqueline Saturn has been promoted to President of Caroline – the Independent Distribution & Label Services arm of Capitol Music Group (CMG) – it was announced today by CMG Chief Operating Officer Michelle Jubelirer, to whom Saturn reports.  In her elevated position, Saturn will continue to lead Caroline's 50-person U.S. team and oversee all aspects of its business, including artist and label signings and partnerships, as well as strategic planning and alliances with Caroline International's 11 offices outside the U.S.  She will also continue to head CMG's Harvest Records, having signed and developed a host of successful emerging artists at that label.  Saturn is based in Hollywood in the iconic Capitol Tower.

BIFA, in partnership with Creative Skillset, today announce the introduction of a bespoke programme in Training for Unconscious Bias to be initiated in preparation for the 2018 awards. BIFA is the first film awards body to train its voting membership to recognise where their unconscious biases (positive or negative) may be influencing their decisions. The move reinforces BIFA's commitments to making its voting process as fair, inclusive and diligent as possible. The initiative is supported with National Lottery funds from the British Film Institute as part of the Future Film Skills programme. 

The American Film Institute (AFI) has appointed industry veteran Juli Goodwin as its new Chief Communications Officer. Goodwin brings more than 25 years of experience in marketing and publicity to AFI, most recently as Executive Vice President of Domestic Publicity for Warner Bros. Pictures. Goodwin will serve on AFI's senior management team, leading communications strategies for AFI's national arts and education programs.
