Back Lot Music will release the original motion-picture soundtrack to Universal Pictures' First Man day and date with the film's theatrical release on October 12. The soundtrack will feature new music from two-time Academy Award winner Justin Hurwitz, as well as a recording of Leon Bridges performing 'Whitey on the Moon,' in character as Gil Scott Heron. As of today, fans who pre-order the soundtrack will get the tracks 'Quarantine' and 'The Landing' immediately.

Ray Nicholson, Will Chase and Kevin Alves have been cast as series regulars in the Amazon pilot 'Panic,' according to Deadline. The pilot is pasted on Lauren Oliver's best-selling book, and Oliver will create and write the show.

dick clark productions and ABC today announced that American Music Award-winning rock duo, Twenty One Pilots, will return to the AMAs stage to deliver a YouTube Music Moment at the "2018 American Music Awards." The band will treat fans to their alternative/indie track "Jumpsuit," which peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart and is the fastest-rising song to reach No. 1 on the Alternative Songs chart since the 2009 and garnered the top spot on the Rock Airplay chart. "Jumpsuit" is the first single from the band's highly anticipated fifth studio album, TRENCH, out today.

Entertainment and Swarovski, announced today the launch of Action: The Academy Women's Initiative, comprised of the Academy Gold Fellowship for Women, the Academy Directory and annual events, all designed to create opportunities for female filmmakers to connect, share their stories and celebrate inclusion. This year's events will take place on October 15 in London and October 30 in Los Angeles, and will see the announcement of the first two recipients of the Academy Gold Fellowship for Women. Action is an extension of the Academy's A2020 initiative, which seeks to support inclusion and increase representation within the Academy and the greater film community.

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network revealed today the official trailer for its new dating series “Ready to Love,” from hitmaking producer Will Packer (“Night School,” “Girls Trip”).
