Nickelodeon has entered into an exclusive first-look deal with comedian, actor and television personality Kevin Hart (Night School, Jumanji, The Secret Life of Pets) and his production entity, HartBeat Productions. Hugely popular among Nickelodeon's audience, Hart will develop and produce live-action, scripted kids' content for the network through HartBeat.

DOC NYC, America's largest documentary festival, announced the full lineup for its ninth edition, running November 8-15 at the IFC Center in Greenwich Village and Chelsea's SVA Theatre and Cinepolis Chelsea. The 2018 festival includes 135 feature-length documentaries among over 300 films and events overall. Included are 42 world premieres and 17 U.S. or North American premieres, with more than 500 doc makers and special guests expected in person to present their films or participate on panels.

In its annual return to screens around the anniversary of Pearl Harbor Day, Fathom Events is bringing George Takei's ("Star Trek," "Heroes") moving Broadway musical "Allegiance," also starring Tony Award® winner Lea Salonga (Miss Saigon, Mulan) and Telly Leung (Godspell, "Glee"), back to cinemas nationwide for an encore event on December 11. In addition to the film of the original Broadway production, Fathom Events is premiering a new documentary, "Allegiance to Broadway: The Dream. The Story. The Journey of A Musical," by director/filmmaker Greg Vander Veer on December 4, which gives audiences an in-depth look into the making of "Allegiance".

dick clark productions announced today that critically-acclaimed actors Timothée Chalamet and Rachel Weisz will receive the “Hollywood Supporting Actor Award” and “Hollywood Supporting Actress Award” respectively, at the 22nd Annual “Hollywood Film Awards.”  Chalamet will be honored for his exquisite work in Amazon Studio's Beautiful Boy, while Weisz will be recognized for her role in Fox Searchlight's The Favourite, a festival breakout.  They join previously announced honoree Nicole Kidman, who will receive this year's “Hollywood Career Achievement Award.”  The 22nd Annual “Hollywood Film Awards” will take place on Sunday, November 4 at The Beverly Hilton.

'Mr. Mom,' the 1983 comedy, is being revived by MGM and Vudu, according to Variety. The reboot will be a digital series as a part of a new partnership between MGM and the Walmart-owned streaming platform.

CMA will match dollar for dollar donations in support of “Heal The Music Day,” up to $100,000. Every dollar donated equals $30 in life-saving healthcare resources to Heal The Music.

Weezer have revealed the first song from their forthcoming, long-anticipated record The Black Album, set for release in 2019 via Crush Music/Atlantic Records. The song -- entitled “Can't Knock The Hustle” -- was produced by TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek, with whom the band worked for the first time.  The song premiered this morning via iHeartRadio at 8 am EST, and follows the band's smash hit cover of “Africa” by Toto.

Blige. Hit producer and music executive Ron Fair is donating his Faircraft Studio in Nashville for the event, which will take place October 17 - 19.
