Sugar23 Founder and CEO Michael Sugar and Head of Production Ashley Zalta will make Netflix their creative home for his new company Sugar23 for feature films under a multi-year deal, where Netflix gets a first look at any feature film that Sugar23 want to produce

CBS has given a full-season order to new drama series FBI, which premiered Tuesday, Sept. 25. FBI is CBS' most-watched new series with over 13.6 million viewers, as well as the #2 new show of the season. FBI stars Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Ebonée Noel, Jeremy Sisto and Sela Ward.

NBC Sports will present Racing Roots: Featuring Bubba Wallace, a 30-minute special chronicling the rookie driver's journey to the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, this Saturday, October 13 at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Racing Roots will air immediately following NBC's NASCAR Cup Series qualifying coverage from Talladega Superspeedway.

“BASIC VERSUS BALLER: TRAVEL AT ANY COST” is the first long form original show from Tastemade that  will be launching exclusively on TastemadeTV, the company's new 24-hour linear channel on YouTubeTV.  The show follows the Vagabrothers around the globe in 10 episodes, with episode 1 shot in Hong Kong, China, premiering on October 26, 2018.  Following the premiere, it will air weekly on Thursdays through early January 2019 and will be supported by over 100 social assets to be distributed on Tastemade's global social channels.

The 4th Annual Asian World Film Festival (AWFF) has named internationally renowned actress, producer VIVIAN WU as the head of the festival's official jury. Wu's credits include the Oscarwinning The Last Emperor, Heaven and Earth, The Soong Sisters and the iconic The Joy Luck Club. In addition, the AWFF announced 14 Oscar Foreign Language Film submissions and seven Golden Globe Foreign Language Film contenders will be screened as part of the festival's schedule at the Arclight Cinemas in Downtown Culver City (9500 Culver Blvd) from Oct. 24 – Nov 1, 2018.

The Canadian Pacific (CP) Holiday Train will soon set out once again to entertain hundreds of thousands of people, celebrating 20 years of collecting food and raising funds for food banks across North America. The Trews will hop on board the 2nd leg of the trip with Willy Porter in Chicago to complete the trip through Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota before arriving at their final destination in Weyburn, Sask. on Dec. 16.

Fox has given a script commitment with penalty to Saturday Night Special, a drama about police officers in Washington, D.C, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The series comes from writer Robert Specland, who executive produces with Marc Platt and Adam Siegel. 

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah adds Jaboukie Young-White as the latest correspondent to join “The World's Fakest News Team” which includes Ronny Chieng, Michael Kosta, Desi Lydic, Dulcé Sloan and Roy Wood Jr. Young-White was tapped by Executive Producer, Writer and Host, Trevor Noah and will make his debut on the show tonight, at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT with an in-studio desk piece.

The International Cinematographers Guild (ICG, IATSE Local 600) 56th Annual ICG Publicists Awards Luncheon will take place Friday, Feb. 22, 2019, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Netflix has ordered 10 episodes of Spinning Out, a new edgy drama series from creator Samantha Stratton. Emma Roberts stars as Kat Baker, an up-and-coming, high-level single skater who's about to turn in her skates after a disastrous fall took her off the competition track. When Kat seizes an opportunity to continue her career as a pair skater with a talented bad-boy partner, she risks exposing a fiercely kept secret that could unravel her entire life. On and off the ice, Kat and her new partner will face daunting odds, injury to body and soul, financial sacrifice, and even potential mental breakdown on their way to realizing their Olympic dream.

Lifetime has greenlit Love You to Death starring Emmy nominee and Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden (Code Black) in the twisted story of a controlling mother and her seemingly sick daughter that ends in a murder no one could have predicted. This is a re-teaming for Sony Pictures Television and Lifetime with director Alex Kalymnios, who directed Lifetime's highly rated Cleveland Abduction in 2015.

Hulu has given a straight-to-series order to Wu-Tang: An American Saga. The upcoming drama series created and written by Alex Tse (SuperFly) and Wu-Tang Clan front man The RZA, has received a 10-episode order from Hulu and will be executive produced by Imagine's Brian Grazer (Empire, Genius) and Francie Calfo (Empire, Genius), Wu-Tang Clan's The RZA and Method Man, and Tse. Imagine Television creative executive James Seidman will oversee the project for Imagine.
