In fact, “Live” delivered back-to-back season highs to post its highest-rated week in more than 7 months in Homes – since the week of 3/19/18.

Grammy-winner Chance the Rapper has teamed up with MGM to develop a movie musical titled 'Hope,' according to The Hollywood Reporter.

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today the start of production in Atlanta of the new multigenerational family saga “Ambitions,” produced by Will Packer Media in association with Lionsgate and Lionsgate-owned distributor Debmar-Mercury, and starring Robin Givens (“Riverdale,” “The Fix,” “The Bold and the Beautiful”), Essence Atkins (“Marlon,” “Half and Half”), Brian White (“Ray Donovan,” “Scandal”), Kendrick Cross (“Acrimony,”) Brely Evans (“Being Mary Jane”) and Erica Page (“Ozark,” “Bad Dad Rehab”). Multiple award-winning writer/EP Kevin Arkadie (“The Quad,” “New York Undercover”) has joined as showrunner. Global announced today that it has commissioned a new Canadian original six-part event series, Departure. Produced by Shaftesbury and Greenpoint Productions Ltd., the thrilling drama is directed by Canadian Screen Award Winner T.J. Scott (Orphan Black, Star Trek: Discovery), with Malcolm MacRury (Saving Hope) joining as showrunner, and created by Vincent Shiao (Ransom, Aftermath). With principal photography now underway in Toronto, the Canada/UK co- production will also shoot in London, England. The project was developed by Shaftesbury in association with Corus Entertainment and Red Arrow Studios International.

I LOVE LUCY CHRISTMAS SPECIAL, a new one-hour special featuring two back-to-back colorized episodes of the classic series, will be broadcast Friday, Dec. 14 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Northern California band Loverman has released their debut album, Wings of Desire, today.  Loverman play like the house band of a lounge bar in the middle of the Californian desert, performing for a late-night crowd of rockers, femme fatales, and aging poets, while David Lynch watches from a corner booth. Taking Back Sunday have unveiled the track listing and format details, for their 20-year anniversary compilation, Twenty. The 21-song collection will be released on January 11th and spans all seven of their full-length albums; 2002's Tell All Your Friends, 2004's Where You Want To Be, 2006's Louder Now, 2009's New Again, 2011's Taking Back Sunday, 2014's Happiness Is and 2016's Tidal Wave.

On December 6 Adia Victoria will present 'A Delta Blue Christmas.' The event will take place at Jack White's Third Man Records in Nashville, TN.  It kicks off in the afternoon with a panel discussion on the extended history of black art & the blues as protest and its place in activism. The evening will consist of a performance-based poetry reading with Adia, Caroline Randall Williams and Ciona Rouse, followed by two performances by Adia Victoria - a set of solo acoustic blues numbers, followed by a full-band set of new material.  Tickets for both the afternoon and evening events can b purchased HERE. Last week, the week of the mid-term elections, TODAY was the number-one morning show across the board proving once again that more viewers turn to TODAY for breaking news. TODAY topped “Good Morning America” in total viewers for the third consecutive week, marking its first “three-peat” total viewer win since the Pyeongchang Olympics. TODAY also won the key demo A25-54 for the week, marking 150 straight weeks in the top spot, its best streak in over six years. Additionally, TODAY widened its demo lead over GMA by 81% versus a year ago.
