SUPER BOWL GREATEST COMMERCIALS 2019, an interactive countdown special where viewers will be able to vote LIVE via specific hashtags for the All-Time Funniest Super Bowl commercial, will be broadcast Tuesday, Jan. 29 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) today announced music icon Quincy Jones and prolific filmmaker Jason Blum among its 2019 Special Achievement honorees. The awards, celebrating career excellence in and around the cinematic arts, are given out annually by the association which represents the largest body of Black film critics in the world. Along with Jones and Blum, who produced Spike Lee's BlacKkKlansman this year, director Aneesh Chaganty, AAFCA Breakthrough Film Award recipient for his film SEARCHING, and early jazz innovator Buddy Bolden, the posthumous recipient of the AAFCA Pioneer Award and subject of Daniel Pritzker long-awaited biopic, BOLDEN, also join the impressive list of previously announced recipients, including Netflix's Tengo Nagenda and HBO's Kelly Edwards.

THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT will broadcast live following President Donald Trump's State of the Union address Tuesday, Jan. 29 (11:35 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. This will mark the 19th time THE LATE SHOW has broadcast live. The most recent live broadcast aired election night on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018. Guests joining Colbert for the live broadcast from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York will be announced at a later date.

Today, Friday, January 11, 2019, multiple Grammy Award-nominated violinist Philippe Quint makes his debut on Warner Classics with the release of his latest album Chaplin's Smile, a collection of Charlie Chaplin songs newly arranged for violin and piano. To commemorate the 130th anniversary of Chaplin's birth in 2019, Chaplin's Smile features Philippe Quint joined on two tracks by Quint's friend and frequent collaborator, violinistJoshua Bell. Over more than three years, Quint, in collaboration with arrangers Charles Coleman and Leon Gurvitch went through dozens of songs and soundtracks written by Chaplin to select the songs best suited for violin and piano.

After working with House of Cards screenwriter D. Harrington Miller on a storyboard upon which the 'Blueprint' album was written, Ferry Corsten's interest in storytelling and conveying the emotion on-screen aurally were piqued, and with over 20 years of production under his belt there are arguably few dance producers better placed to explore the world of cinema than him.
