Final Draft will also announce the winners of the prestigious 2018 Big Break® Screenwriting Contest. The 14thAnnual Final Draft Awards will be held at the Paramount Theatre on the Paramount Studios lot in Hollywood, CA on Jan. 29th and will be hosted by comedy duo Randy and Jason Sklar (The Sklar Brothers).

The acclaimed string quartet ETHEL performs the complete string quartets of Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Julia Wolfe: Dig Deep, Early that Summer, Four Marys, and Blue Dress. This is the first performance of all of Wolfe's string quartets at one time, on one stage.  

Tamaryn has been crafting gothic dreampop and soaring shoegaze records for the better part of a decade.  With each subsequent release she has both expanded her sonic palette and playfully deconstructed it, the project itself an iconoclastic exploration involving a variety of collaborators and genre-melding that has spanned three previous albums, an EP and a handful of singles. While 2015's lush Cranekiss marked a synth-inflected left turn for the artist, Dreaming the Dark, out March 22nd, pushes her sound even further. It's simultaneously her hardest, darkest record and still somehow her most accessible, landing squarely in the sweet spot between between pop and post-punk. 

In the wake of the triumphant headlining stand at the Austin City Limits festival that the Austin American Statesman called, “A Marathon to Remember Forever,” Paul McCartney has added yet another show to the upcoming U.S. leg of his new “FRESHEN UP” tour. The newly confirmed Saturday, June 29 show at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas is the newest addition to Paul's first extended stateside run since the “One On One Tour” that played to some two million fans around the world during 2016 and 2017.

Scottish indie-pop rockers Astrid are back with a brand new album after a 14-year hiatus, Fall, Stand, Dance, to be released April 12 on Edwyn Collins' AED Records, premiering a first single “Poison Reaction” via Buzzbands.LA, prior to its official release on February 22 – share via Soundcloud.  Led by songwriters Willie Campbell and Charlie Clark, Fall, Stand, Dance was recorded in Los Angeles, where Clark now resides, produced by Eric McCann (The New Amsterdams) and mixed by long time Astrid collaborator Tony Doogan(Belle and Sebastian/Mogwai/Delgados).

Thirty years after forming in Limerick (initially as The Cranberry Saw Us) The Cranberriesare set to release their 8th and final album In The End. With Stephen Street once again taking producer duties, the eleven-track record brings a remarkable career to a fitting and powerful closure. Announcing the album, the band has shared the first single 'All Over Now' that blends rock, alternative and catchy almost pop-sounding melodies to deliver a classic Cranberries sound. 

John Boyega is set to executive produce God Is Good, a South African crime-thriller, according to Deadline. Producers are describing the film as in the vein of Prisoners and City Of God. Boyega is also launching a record label, UpperRoom Records, to oversee the film's soundtrack.

NBC has ordered a pilot for the Tony Phelan and Joan Rater drama “Council of Dads,”according to Variety.
