Throughout April and beyond, PBS will celebrate Earth Day and the arrival of spring with programs that explore topics from the change of seasons in North America to the way scientists and politicians came together to fix the hole in the ozone layer. New specials include a live interactive look at the arrival of spring in various ecosystems throughout the country, as well as programming from NATURE and NOVA, on PBS, PBS.org and the PBS Video App (check local listings).

After a run of successful headlining shows, as well as dates supporting Houndmouth earlier this year, indie icon Ben Kweller has announced a solo tour through the West Coast beginning with a festival appearance on April 13 in Dallas, TX, making his way through Phoenix, AZ, San Francisco, CA, Portland, OR, Denver, CO and more. Garage darlings The Technicolors will open in Arizona while LA's MainMan and NoiseCo comrades, Modern Love Child, will be opening all following dates. Tickets are on sale now. A complete list of tour dates are available below.

Note for note, cut for cut, Classic Albums Live is back at Festival Place, April 20, with one of the greatest rock albums, AC/DC's Back in Black.

Between them, Radney Foster and Darden Smithhave released over two dozen albums, written hundreds of songs, played thousands of shows and logged millions of miles getting there and back. From April 11-13 and June 21-23, they'll play six more dates together. For these special evenings, Foster and Smith will join each other on stage to sing songs, read selections from their books, tell the stories behind both, and do their best to make each other (and the audience) laugh, cry, and get lost in the mystery behind the process of two of Texas' great songwriters.

Through sit down interviews with struggling addicts, the 15-minute Youtube distributed program depicts the raw, honest conversation about the addict's numerous overdoses, jail time, suicide attempts and daily abuse of opioids, heroine, methadone, cocaine and alcohol.  'Pivotal Addiction is 'Intervention' meets 'Dr. Phil' meets 'Undercover Boss.' Los Angeles-based musican Wyndham has revealed his new single 'Time To Kill' from his his sophomore full-length solo album A Fistful Of Stars out April 12. The track premiered at Atwood Magazine and will be on all digital streaming services this Friday. About the song Wyndham says, 'I've spent allot of my life numbing myself to shut the world out...When I got sober a few years ago, that habit became crystal clear to me. This song is about that revelation, about upending and reframing old ideas and being honest when things are out of control, even if I'd like them to appear perfect. The production style feels lighter and more freewheeling for such a loaded idea, which was intentional too: I wanted to capture that tension between how things look and how they can feel. A Fistful Of Stars is available to pre-order now at Bandcamp.  

For Lissie, her past—the last decade or so, to be specific—is something still very much alive and open to interpretation and rephrasing. With When I'm Alone: The Piano Retrospective(out April 5, 2019 via Cooking Vinyl), she is poised to show listeners that her past is hardly static, that the songs she wrote nearly 10 years ago are still fresh and vibrant, evoking a feeling of old and new.

 Fitz And The Tantrums and GRAMMY®-nominated artist Kesha will join the performance lineup at the 2019 MusiCares® Concert For Recovery on May 16. The concert will honor multi-GRAMMY® winner Macklemore and will be hosted by Joel McHale. The evening will also present a tribute to Mac Miller, and will close with a special performance by Macklemore. Additional performers will be announced shortly.

ABC and dick clark productions announced today that the "2019 American Music Awards®," the world's largest fan-voted awards show, will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Nov. 24 (8:00-11:00 p.m. EST), on ABC.

Chris Robinson Brotherhood has announced its latest studio album 'Servants of the Sun' will be released June 14 on Silver Arrow Records. The CRB's sixth full-length recording since forming in 2011 finds the band setting aside the studio explorations of more recent work, instead coming full circle to deliver their most direct, bare bones, rock n' roll offering since debut companion albums 'Big Moon Ritual' and 'The Magic Door.'  The first single “Comin' Round The Mountain” is out today on all streaming services.
