Last night, BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.) paid tribute to the best in songwriting at its 67th Annual BMI Pop Awards held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. World-renowned singer/songwriter and musician Stingwas celebrated for “Every Breath You Take” becoming the Most Performed Song in BMI's repertoire of over 14 million musical works, GRAMMY Award-winning band Imagine Dragons received the BMI President's Award and legendary music publishing executiveMartin Bandier was named a BMI Icon. The private event, hosted by BMI President and CEO Mike O'Neill and Vice President, Worldwide Creative Barbara Cane, also saluted the songwriters and publishers of the past year's most-performed Pop songs in the United States from BMI's extensive catalog.

Love Trails Festival, South Wales's unique mix of running, music, adventure and adrenaline fuelled offerings is just around the corner. Acts now announced include the likes of DJ Luck & MC Neat, Hackney Colliery Band, Afriquoi, The Correspondents, Joel Culpepper, Prince Fatty Soundsystem, Charlie Dark and DJ Melody Kane (BBC1Xtra).  In what could turn out to be the largest murder case on British soil, ADOLF ISLAND sees forensic archaeologist Caroline Sturdy Colls (Professor of Conflict Archaeology and Genocide Investigation at Staffordshire University) go in search of a Nazi SS camp constructed in secrecy on the British Channel island of Alderney during World War II. Years of research and forensic investigation have led Sturdy Colls to examine remnants of concentration and labor camps on the quiet island, and to official SS archives in Germany, where clues emerge that lead Caroline to suspect that Alderney was the scene of Nazi mass murders. However, when local officials attempt to stop the investigation, the search for the final resting place of the victims is imperiled. ADOLF ISLAND will premiere on Sunday, June 23 at 10 PM ET/PT on Smithsonian Channel.

In continuation of the international touring portion of their 2019 Warpaint tour, Buckcherry announces new dates in Australia and Japan today. The Australian portion runs from October 8th to October 13th and includes shows in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney. Support for all shows will be provided by Hardcore Superstar and Bad Moon Born. The Japanese shows will be in Tokyo and Osaka on October 15th and October 16th and features support by Jared James Nichols.

WarnerMedia has ordered a second season of its post-apocalyptic sci-fi series Snowpiercer prior to its series premiere. Based on the acclaimed film of the same name, the highly anticipated futuristic thriller will debut next year on TBS. Netflix has announced the return of Black Mirror, which will air its much-anticipated fifth season on Wednesday, June 5th, exclusively on Netflix.

Emma Thompson is in talks to star in Disney's live-action spinoff 'Cruella,' according to Variety. Thompson would star opposite Emma Stone, who plays Cruella, in the origin story based on the classic '101 Dalmatians' villain Cruella de Vil.

Grammy®, TONY®, and Emmy® Award-winning artist Ben Platt has announced official details of his upcoming show at Radio City Music Hall on September 29, 2019. The concert follows a sold-out show yesterday evening at New York City's Beacon Theatre - during which Platt first broke the news of the September show to fans in the audience - and a wildly successful tour with stops throughout the US and Canada in support of Platt's debut solo LP Sing to Me Instead.
