The Madison Square Garden Company announced today that legendary musician and MSG music franchise Billy Joel will continue his record-breaking monthly residency on Saturday, January 25, 2020 with his 72nd consecutive show at Madison Square Garden. Nearly 42 years after his debut performance at The Garden, the January 2020 show will mark Joel's 118th lifetime performance, all sell-outs, with more than one million tickets sold.

Web Summit, the “world's largest technology event” ​according to the Financial Times​, is announcing today that Kathleen Kennedy will speak in Lisbon this November. Kennedy is the producer of E.T, Star Wars, and Indiana Jones. She has also been named by Vanity Fair as “the most powerful woman in Hollywood”.

The Ojai Film Festival continues the tradition of focusing on environmental films with the 20th Anniversary Edition: FOCUS EARTH. Israel is transfixed as a media frenzy erupts around the trial in Jerusalem, the nation plunged into trauma and fascination by “the trial of the century.” As the case uncovers dark corners of memory and the horrors of war, the Demjanjuk case becomes a race against time for the defendant and his alleged victims. 

Cinema Guild announced today the acquisition of all U.S. distribution rights for Kazik Radwanski's Anne at 13,000 ft. The film received an honorable mention from the Platform Prize jury when it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. International and U.S. premieres at major festivals are planned for the months ahead before the film opens in U.S. theaters in 2020.

Reservoir announces the signing of neo-soul pop artist Rachel Chinouriri to a worldwide publishing deal. Disney Channel has ordered 'Sulphur Springs,' a live-action, time travel mystery series from writer and executive producer Tracey Thomson ('The Young and the Restless'). Chuck Pratt ('STAR') will serve as showrunner and executive producer. Jennifer Phang (Freeform's 'Cloak & Dagger') directed the pilot episode. Production is set to begin in New Orleans in 2020.
