According to reports, Don Johnson will be appearing alongside Joshua Jackson in an upcoming drama from Ryan Murphy, co-creator of Glee. Other than the title- Dr. Odyssey- few details about the show have been announced. including the plot or Johnson's role. The series will be produced by ABC, with aims to premiere during the 2024-25 season. Reports indicate that it will likely be a medical procedural.

The trailer for the second season of the vampire comedy Reginald the Vampire has just dropped! Jacob Batalon stars as Reginald Andres who had finally gotten his life together – when he was turned into a vampire. While he doesn’t fit into the stereotypical expectations of what a vampire looks like – he’s not chiseled or classically handsome – Reginald has found his place amongst an unlikely cohort. World of Wonder, the producers behind RuPaul’s Drag Race, have announced a special spin-off of their hit series ‘Painted with Raven’. The special spin-off, titled ‘Painting with Raven’, will keep Emmy- Award- winning make-up artist and “RuPaul’s Drag Race” alum Raven in the host’s chair as she sits down with queens from across the Drag Race franchise for exclusive conversations while they do their make-up. The featured queens in the premiere season were all hand-selected by Raven herself. Through these conversations, Raven unearths insider tea from the queens’ time on “Drag Race,” their life stories, as well as first-hand make-up tips and tricks.

Jazz at Lincoln Center has announced that its 2024 Gala, Celebrating Tony Bennett, will be available for Jazz Live subscribers to stream live on April 17, 2024 at 7 p.m. EDT. This year, Jazz at Lincoln Center’s signature fundraising event celebrates the late, great vocalist Tony Bennett’s unique contributions and fierce dedication to the jazz community. Celebrating Tony Bennett—hosted by Josh Groban and anchored by the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis—features special guests, Bernadette Peters, Kristin Chenoweth, Norm Lewis, and more.

Dua Lipa will be making her Saturday Night Live hosting debut on May 4. Though she has appeared on SNL twice in the past as the musical guest, this will mark her first time as host of the comedy program. Other hosts this season include Sydney Sweeney, Josh Brolin, Kristen Wiig and Ryan Gosling with musical performances by Kacey Musgraves, Ariana Grande, Raye, and Chris Stapleton, respectively.

LAIBACH has released a new two-track single, “Opus Dei Live 1987 - 1989 pt.1”,  featuring two unreleased live recordings: “Leben heisst Leben (Opus Dei)”  Live from London, Queen Elizabeth Hall, 1987 and “F.I.A.T. (Let It Be)”  Live from Paris, Espace Ornano, 1992. Both tracks are from the expanded edition of their 1987 album, Opus Dei, which is set to be released digitally on Mute on May 10, 2024. On Friday, April 19th, Brainstory will release their sophomore full-length album Sounds Good via Big Crown Records. In honor of the 30th anniversary of the 1994 film, Disney’s The Lion King 30th Anniversary – A Live-to-Film Concert Event will see the return of several cast members associated with the original animated film, the live-action remake, and the Broadway version. Songs from all versions of the story will be sung, the report suggests. A full orchestra and choir, conducted by Sarah Hicks, will be performing Hans Zimmer's score.
