Dane Cook & Josh Hamilton Bring FAT PIG to Broadway in 2011; LaBute DirectsNovember 18, 2010Comedy superstar and actor Dane Cook will make his Broadway debut this spring in the first Broadway production of Neil LaBute's FAT PIG at a theatre TBD. Cook will be joined by stage, film, and television actor Josh Hamilton (The Coast of Utopia, Away We Go). LaBute will make his Broadway directorial debut with the play, which he also directed in 2008 in the play's acclaimed London premiere, receiving an Olivier Award nomination for Best New Comedy. Further casting, design team, theatre and dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

Brian Dennehy Leads THE FIELD in Dublin in 2011; Guthrie Artistic Director Dowling DirectsNovember 17, 2010The Guthrie Theater today announced that Artistic Director Joe Dowling will direct legendary stage actor Brian Dennehy in John B. Keane's The Field in a limited run at Dublin's Olympia Theatre beginning January 13. Dennehy plays the iconic role of ‘The Bull' McCabe in Keane's award-winning play. The Field returns to the Olympia Theatre where it premiered more than 45 years ago and will run from January 13 through to February 12, then transfer to the INEC, Killarney, from February 15 through 17, followed by a transfer to the Royal Theatre, Castlebar, from February 24 through 26.

STAGE TUBE: Arena's OKLAHOMA! in Performance!November 17, 2010Arena Stage begins a new life in its renovated home at the Mead Center for American Theater in Southwest D.C., opening its inaugural season with a classic American musical that similarly embraces life on a new frontier. Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! is the first production at the Mead Center and features an all-star cast under the direction of Artistic Director Molly Smith. Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! runs October 22-December 26, 2010 in the Fichandler Stage. There is already buzz of a Broadway transfer surrounding the show. Open Casting Call Begins 12/18 November 16, 2010Oxygen Media and Casting Duo, in association with Robert Ulrich, casting director of 'Glee,' will begin the casting search for 'The Glee Project' with open calls in Chicago on Saturday, December 18 and Sunday, December 19 and in Dallas on Saturday, January 8 and Sunday, January 9. Aside from these open calls, the team will also be reaching out to the next wave of professional performers through official industry channels in order to ensure everyone is included in this opportunity. 'The Glee Project,' where performers will compete for a multi-episode guest-starring role on season three of hit series 'Glee,' will premiere on Oxygen in June 2011.
