Comedy superstar and actor Dane Cook will make his Broadway debut this spring in the first Broadway production of Neil LaBute's FAT PIG at a theatre TBD. Cook will be joined by stage, film, and television actor Josh Hamilton (The Coast of Utopia, Away We Go). LaBute will make his Broadway directorial debut with the play, which he also directed in 2008 in the play's acclaimed London premiere, receiving an Olivier Award nomination for Best New Comedy. Further casting, design team, theatre and dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

With eye-popping sets, fierce costumes, and an electric young cast, Julie Taymor and Bono bring Spider-Man, the $60+ Million rock musical, to Broadway. The Guthrie Theater today announced that Artistic Director Joe Dowling will direct legendary stage actor Brian Dennehy in John B. Keane's The Field in a limited run at Dublin's Olympia Theatre beginning January 13. Dennehy plays the iconic role of ‘The Bull' McCabe in Keane's award-winning play. The Field returns to the Olympia Theatre where it premiered more than 45 years ago and will run from January 13 through to February 12, then transfer to the INEC, Killarney, from February 15 through 17, followed by a transfer to the Royal Theatre, Castlebar, from February 24 through 26.

GLEE star and Broadway vet Matthew Morrison recently opened up to ET about his wild child past and why he is not the best boyfriend material these days. Says Morrison: 'There was so much opportunity. There were all these beautiful, beautiful dancers. As a straight guy, I had some room ... I definitely hooked up with a lot of girls when I was a young guy on Broadway. It was exciting. Arena Stage begins a new life in its renovated home at the Mead Center for American Theater in Southwest D.C., opening its inaugural season with a classic American musical that similarly embraces life on a new frontier. Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! is the first production at the Mead Center and features an all-star cast under the direction of Artistic Director Molly Smith. Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! runs October 22-December 26, 2010 in the Fichandler Stage. There is already buzz of a Broadway transfer surrounding the show. According to IMDB, Broadway favorite Rosie O'Donnell blogged today about facing a battle with breast cancer- the same disease that killed her mother at the age of 39. Rosie reported that doctors found two lumps in her breasts.

According to Deadline.com, Katherine Heigl has withdrawn from the film, Adaline, co-starring Angela Lansbury. The movie's screenplay is by J Mills Goodloe, Sal Paskowitz and Allison Burnett, and it will be directed by Abny Tennant.

Oxygen Media and Casting Duo, in association with Robert Ulrich, casting director of 'Glee,' will begin the casting search for 'The Glee Project' with open calls in Chicago on Saturday, December 18 and Sunday, December 19 and in Dallas on Saturday, January 8 and Sunday, January 9. Aside from these open calls, the team will also be reaching out to the next wave of professional performers through official industry channels in order to ensure everyone is included in this opportunity. 'The Glee Project,' where performers will compete for a multi-episode guest-starring role on season three of hit series 'Glee,' will premiere on Oxygen in June 2011.
