Katie Finneran Joins I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER for FoxFebruary 25, 2011Deadline.com reports that Katie Finneran has joined the cast of I Hate My Teenage Daughter for the new Fox comedy, I Hate My Teenage Daughter. Sherry Bilsing-Graham and Ellen Kreamer have written and will produce the pilot. According to the report, I Hate My Teenage Daughter 'centers on two women, Annie and Nikki (Finneran), who now have daughters just like the girls who picked on them in high school.'
Stroman Teams with RAGTIME's Ahrens/Flaherty on New Dance Musical at LCTFebruary 25, 2011Susan Stromen is teaming up with famed Ragtime music duo Lynn Ahrens (lyrics) and Stephen Flaherty (music) for a new dance musical supported by Lincoln Center, BroadwayWorld has confirmed. The still unnamed project received a reading last year and is prepping for a long workshop at Lincoln Center in June. The project is written by Peter Parnell (Cider House Rules). Stroman, of course, will direct and choreograph.

Also recently cast in the pilot, written by Theresa Rebeck and to be directed by Michael Mayer, are Jack Davenport and Megan Hilty. McPhee, repped by Gersh and the Schiff Co., made her TV pilot debut last season with NBC's half-hour The Pink House. She will next be seen in the romantic comedy You May Not Kiss the Bride.'

Daniels, a Michigan native, urged a crowd of about 3000 to contact their representatives and the state legislature to plead to keep Michigan's generous film tax incentives in place. Michigan Governor Rick Snyder is proposing to replace the film tax incentive program with a 5 million cap on future film credits, which Daniels and other film executives believe would virtually put an end to the booming Michigan film industry.
