Jessica Lewis Jessica has worked in theater for nearly ten years. She has worked in theatrical production for the producers of STOMP, DAMN YANKEES, NUNSENSE, DINNER WITH FRIENDS and more, and for over 5 years has been involved in the Whoopi Goldberg-produced White Noise, having discovered the production at the 2006 New York Musical Theatre Festival. She has since helped foster its growth through multiple large-scale workshops and two major commercial productions as an Associate Producer. After dedicating many years to theatrical and live entertainment production work that has taken her all over the world in 2009 she assumed the post of Senior Managing Editor at BroadwayWorld.com, the largest theater site on the net, for which she controls operations, routinely interviews Broadway's A-list talent and films/edits a bulk of the sites popular BWW TV content. She is a graduate of Brown University and has worked professionally in production for the Brown University Department of Theatre, Speech and Dance, Rights and Reasons Theatre, the New York Theatre Workshop and more.

Public Announces $35 Tickets to COURAGE IN CONCERT Viewing Party with Will Swenson and Gavin Creel

The Public Theater, Tony Kushner and Jeanine Tesori will produce COURAGE IN CONCERT, a one-night-only benefit concert reuniting Kevin Kline, Jenifer Lewis, Austin Pendleton, Meryl Streep and Frederick Weller for an evening of songs from the Public Theater?s 2006 Shakespeare in the Park production of Brecht?s masterpiece, Mother Courage and Her Children. Translated by Tony Kushner with music by Jeanine Tesori and originally directed by George C. Wolfe, COURAGE IN CONCERT will be performed at the Public Theater on Monday, October 19 at 8:00 PM with all proceeds benefiting American Jewish World Service and Partners In Health. The cast of HAIR along with special guests will complete the evening. Tickets go on sale on Thursday, September 17.

NEXT TO NORMAL Announces New Student Rush Policy

Beginning Monday, October 12, the Broadway musical Next to Normal will replace its current rush policy with a new ticket lottery. Beginning 90 minutes before each performance, patrons are invited to enter a lottery drawing to purchase a limited number of $25.00 tickets to that day's performance. Names will be drawn at random. There is a limit of two tickets per person and winners must be present with valid identification at the time of the drawing.

Richard Jenkins' next role is anticipated to be quite juicy: he has reportedly signed on to star in 'Let Me In,' an adaptation of the twisted Swedish Film 'Let The Right One In.' In the original Swedish film, a bullied 12-year-old boy develops a friendship with a young vampire girl in Blackeberg, a suburb of Stockholm, in the early 1980s. It is suspected that Jenkins will play the part equivalent to Hakan, the older man who cares for the un-seeming girl.

The National Theatre in the U.K. is reporting that actor Richard Griffiths will replace Michael Gambon in the thier production of Alan Bennett's The Habit of Art. Griffiths will be taking over the role of poet WH Auden opposite Alex Jennings as Benjamin Britten. Michael Gambon is said to be withdrawing from the production due to health reasons. The Nicholas Hytner-directed production is slated to begin previews on November 5.
