The Court Theatre is delighted to announce that after the remarkable success of the season of Four Flat Whites in Italy they will be donating all the proceeds of their final performance to help the victims of the Pacific tsunami. Roger Hall, the playwright, will donate his Royalties from the performance.

Berkeley's acclaimed Aurora Theatre Company announced today the appointment of Julie Saltzman as Managing Director of Aurora Theatre Company; she replaces Susan G. Duncan, who left the company in April. Saltzman joins the company directly from Chicago, where she served as the Producing Director at American Theater Company (ATC). Prior to ATC, she served as Managing Director at Seanachai Theatre Company, and has also held positions as Associate Producer, Production Manager, Stage Manager, and Production Assistant at various theaters throughout Chicago, including Victory Gardens, Strawdog Theatre Company, and Eclipse Theatre Company, and at regional theaters including Colorado Shakespeare Festival and Utah Shakespearean Festival. Saltzman's official start date at the Aurora will be November 2.

The Chicago Street Theater has announced a new, unlikely benefactor to the organization: local cleaner Tudor Cleaning. For anyone who uses Tudor Cleaning and Restoration during the first week of November, the company will donate 40% of the total bill to Theatre.

Indiana University Opera Theater continues its 2009-10 season with the timeless Roméo et Juliette, by Charles Gounod, opening Oct. 23 at the Musical Arts Center. The Indiana University Opera Theater will present Roméo et Juliette on Oct. 23, 24, 30, 31 at 8 p.m.

Following critical acclaim and audience demand, Razors Edge Productions is continuing its professional association with best-selling author Joyce Carol Oates. The collaboration started with ZOMBIE, an award winning solo play by Bill Connington, adapted from Oates' novella that played for a successful extended run on Theatre Row earlier this year. Two independent evenings of Oates' short plays will take place Tuesday, Oct 13 and Tuesday, October 20 at 6:30 pm at the New York Society Library, 53 East 79th Street (just east of Madison Avenue, 6 train to 77th Street). IMAGILAND PRODUCTIONS has announced the new web mini-series 'WIENER & WIENER' premiering Wednesday, October 14th, 2009 on www.wienerandwiener.com. 'WIENER & WIENER' will air new episodes twice a month, every other 'Wiener Wednesday', through February 2010. The series will star Rock of Ages' Katherine Tokarz.

The Nashville Symphony today announced new members for its 2009/10 Board of Directors, including Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas, whose Rob Bironas Fund is partnering with the Symphony to provide music education to the children of Nashville. The Board has also elected two new officers. Noted Nashville attorney James C. Gooch was elected as Chairman, while SunTrust Chairman, President and CEO Robert E. The world premiere, by Mitch Brian and directed by Ron Megee, is inspired by the favorite zombie movie of all time, Dawn of the Dead. Maul of the Dead is part of the Coterie At Night series that brings evening-only performances to older audiences.
