Evan Rachel Wood Bows Out of SPIDER-MANMarch 10, 2010Variety has confirmed that Evan Rachel Wood, who had been set to star as Mary Jane Watson in the much delayed Broadway production of SPIDER-MAN: Turn Off The Dark, has bowed out of the production altogether. A statement out from the producers claims that her departure is due to a 'scheduling conflict' but that a search is 'underway to find a new Mary Jane to join the rest of the cast in the production.'

Signature Honors Sondheim w/ Weekend of Free EventsMarch 9, 2010On March 20 and 21, The Signature Theatre will celebrate the life and work of composer/lyricist Stephen Sondheim, the man who has transformed the face of American musical theater with works such as A Little Night Music, Sweeney Todd, Company, Follies, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and Sunday in the Park with George.
