J. Crew Group chairman and chief executive officer Millard 'Mickey' Drexler quickly responded to Delia Ephron's Dec. 23rd op-ed piece in the New York Times. The piece criticized J. Inter Parfums has signed an agreement with Alred Dunhill Limited ('dunhill') brand. The agreement gives the Parfum company exclusive worldwide fragrance license to create, produce and distribute perfumes and fragrance-related products currently under the Dunhill brand. The agreement is effective 3 April 2013 and replaces a previous license agreement with Procter & Gamble. A new men's scent is anticipated for 2014.

DSW Inc., a leading branded footwear and accessories retailer, has reopened its store in Lawrence, New York after extensive renovations in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. The 18,000-plus square foot store, located at 345 Rockaway Turnpike, originally opened in November 2011.
