THE RASCALS: ONCE UPON A DREAM, which opened last night on Broadway, is directed by Steven Van Zandt and Marc Brickman. With music byFelix Cavaliere and Eddie Brigati, The Rascals: Once Upon a Dream has stage, video and lighting design by Brickman and has music production and is written by legendary guitarist Van Zandt. Performances begin Monday, April 15th atBroadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street), and will play through Sunday, May 5th. Opening night is set for Tuesday, April 16th. Emmy winner and Tony Award and Oscar nominee Alec Baldwin, SAG and Emmy Award winner Ben Foster and London Newcomer of the Year nominee Tom Sturridge visited the TheTimesCenter on yesterday, April 15, to talk about their work on stage in the darkly comic play 'Orphans,' which opens on Broadway April 18, with New York Times theater reporter Patrick Healy.

On Monday, April 8, 2013, Broadway's Chicago welcomed Tony Award nominee Adam Pascal in the role of slick criminal lawyer Billy Flynn and comedienne and radio host Christine Pedi made her Chicago debut as Matron 'Mama' Morton. We couldn't miss their first curtain call!

Yesterday, April 3, Tony's di Napoli Restaurant Times Square presented the addition of a new portrait to their Broadway Wall of Fame, honoring the stars and cast of the legendary Broadway musical, 'Phantom of the Opera' starring Hugh Panaro and Samantha Hill. Peter and the Starcatcher, the five-time TonyAward-winning play, began performances last night, March 18, 2013 at New World Stages. The Public Theater began previews for the world premiere of DETROIT '67, a Public Lab production by Dominique Morisseau, on Tuesday, February 26. Directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah, DETROIT '67 will run through Sunday, March 17 and opened last night in The Public's Shiva Theater. Additionally, the English language premiere of NEVA, written and directed by Guillermo Calderon, opened last night. DRG Records has released the new 2013 Broadway cast recording of Roundabout Theatre Company's critically acclaimed Broadway production of Rupert Holmes' Tony Award-winning musical comedy The Mystery of Edwin Drood, which closed on Broadway yesterday, March 10, at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street). Cast members performed from the album at the Upper East Side Barnes & Noble (86th & Lexington Ave.) on March 8, joined by Will Chase, Jim Norton, Gregg Edelman and Chita Rivera for a CD signing following the performances.
