Twelve year old Harrison Dowzell from Nottinghamshire is to become the thirtieth boy to play the title role of Billy Elliot in the West End. Harrison, who joins the cast of Billy Elliot the Musical today, 14 May 2012, will alternate the role of Billy with Harris Beattie (13 year old from Aberdeen, Scotland), Kaine Ward (13 years old from Hertfordshire), Ryan Collinson (13 years old from Southport) and Adam Vesperman (13 years old from Seattle, Washington, USA) He will be the 65th boy to play the role worldwide, including Jamie Bell who played Billy Elliot in the award-winning film.

POP!, a new musical by Maggie-Kate Coleman and Anna K. Jacobs, directed by Brad Rouse and choreographed by Billy Porter is currently playing until May 19 at the City Theater Mainstage, 1300 Bingham St, Pittsburgh, PA. Invisible Dog presents Prune Nourry's HOLY RIVER from today, Saturday, May 12, with an opening reception from 6-10 pm. Prune has been an artist-in-residence at the Invisible Dog for the last year, and this exhibition is part of larger body of work first exhibited in India and Paris and bound for Switzerland next year.

The gritty, inspirational drama SUNLIGHT JR. will be unveiled to international buyers by Hyde Park International at this year's Marche du Film. The West-End premiere of the dark and devilish comedy CHICKEN arrives at the Trafalgar Studio 2 from Monday 25 June 2012, starring Craig Kelly - known from his roles as Luke Strong in Coronation Street and Vince Tyler in Queer as Folk - as Wendall. CHICKEN will play until Saturday 21 July 2012. The opening night is on Tuesday 26 June at 7pm.

Daniel Evans today announces the world premiere of a new stage play version of The Full Monty which Oscar-winning writer Simon Beaufoy, who wrote the screenplay, has adapted for the stage using songs from the film. This announcement realises a long held ambition for Evans who on his appointment as Artistic Director wanted to bring The Full Monty home to Sheffield. The production will be presented at the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield from Friday 1 - Saturday 23 February 2013.

Nordoff Robbins, the national specialist music charity, has announced today that Jessie J and Andrew Lloyd Webber will reunite as they both win 2012 Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards. The O2 Silver Clef Awards is hosted by Nordoff Robbins at the London Hilton on Park Lane, on Friday June 29th.
