Pan Asian Repertory Celebrates 35th Anniversary, 3/19February 29, 2012Pan Asian Repertory, the East Coast's premiere producer of Asian-American theatre, will celebrate its 35th Anniversary with a Gala event, "Legacy and Homecoming," on Monday, March 19, 2012 at the Edison Ballroom (240 W 47th Street) in Manhattan's theater district. The evening will be hosted by Broadway performer Raul Aranas (Miss Saigon) and comedian Stephen Park ("In Living Color"), and will honor actor Daniel Dae Kim (alum from Pan Asian Rep's 1993 production of A Doll's House and star of TV's "Hawaii Five-O" and "Lost," as well as the Academy Award-winning film Crash) and research scientist Dr. Patricia E Taylor.
DANCE/NYC Junior Committee Releases Report on Dance WorkforceFebruary 29, 2012Young dance artists, educators and administrators in NYC have hybrid careers and are working across corporate structures, budget categories, and both in and outside of dance, according to "Dance Workforce Census: Earnings Among Individuals, Ages 21 - 35," a new report released by the Dance/NYC's Junior Committee.

Lunatic Cunning is a solo, semi-autobiographical 'mockumentary', mixing experiences from Godwin's own life - such as
work with Julie Taymor on Across the Universe, as well as appearances on Saturday Night Live, Chappelle's Show, PBS and with the Muppets--with an examination of the occult roots of puppetry
and performance art.

The 19-date North American leg of the tour kicks off May 9th in Seattle and concludes in Chenoweth's hometown of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on June 24th. In between, she'll be making her first appearance at PlayhouseSquare's Palace Theatre, Wed., June 13 for one 7:30 pm show.
The Ivoryton Playhouse Presents ALWAYS PATSY CLINE, 3/14 - 4/1February 29, 2012Ivoryton: In the town of Winchester in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, there is a gravestone that says: 'Death Cannot Kill What Never Dies: Love.' It is a tribute to the late singer Patsy Cline. Cline died at age 30 on March 5, 1963, which was almost 49 years ago. Her music lives on partly through such stage tributes as Always. Patsy Cline, which opens the season at the Ivoryton Playhouse on March 14th.

Both programs will open with an abstract film montage which overlays excerpts of Graham dancing her psychological works with moments from psychological films of the same era.
