The Henri Bendel Fifth Avenue flagship hosted a NYFW benefit event for NoBully.org to raise funds and awareness for anti-bullying efforts and BroadwayWorld was there! The event was organized by Carrie Berk (NYMF 2017 Award for Outstanding Individual Performance) and the all-kid cast of the New York Musical Festival's Peace, Love and Cupcakes: The Musical. The show joined forces with No Bully this summer and was awarded a special NYMF citation for turning a musical into a full-fledged social inclusivity movement.

School of Rock The Musical launches its First National Tour in Rochester, NY, at RBTL's Auditorium Theatre on September 30, 2017. Signature Theatre is presenting Pulitzer Prize-winner Suzan-Lori Parks' The Red Letter Plays: Fucking A & In the Blood. Direct from a sold-out, critically-acclaimed London run, director Alexandra Spencer-Jones's electrifying stage production of A CLOCKWORK ORANGE, based on Anthony Burgess' 1962 literary masterpiece, begins previews Saturday, September 2, 2017, with an opening night of Monday, September 25, 2017, for a limited Off-Broadway engagement through January 6, 2018. This production celebrates the centennial of Anthony Burgess' birth, in 1917.

The first family musical about disability, Addy & Uno, features concept and book by Nava R. Silton, Ph.D., music and lyrics by Bonnie Gleicher, and will be directed by the Emmy-nominated Donna Drake (John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean and Netflix's Julie's Greenroom). Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 17th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday, August 10. This year's 106.7 LITE FM'S Broadway in Bryant Park is presented by Aruba Tourism Authority, Lufthansa and Toyota.
