The Phantom of the Opera celebrated its unprecedented 30th Anniversary in New York City on January 26, 2018. To mark the occasion, 30 designers were tasked to transform the look of the iconic Phantom mask -originally designed by Maria Bjornson and realized by milliner Rodney Gordon - in their own aesthetic vision for a one-of-a-kind mask.

Stephen DeAngelis presented BROADWAY FRIGHT NIGHT, a celebration of songs from musicals with Supernatural, Horror and Sci-Fi themes, on Monday, October 29th at Green Room 42, Green Fig.

The Mavericks played two sold out performances at The Tarrytown Music Hall, Tarrytown, NY and Broadwayworld.com was there to capture both shows.

Gingold Theatrical Group (David Staller, Artistic Director) continued its season on October 22nd with Bernard Shaw's Back to Methuselah (Part 1).

Steven Reineke celebrated his tenth anniversary as Music Director of The New York Pops during the orchestra's current 2018-19 season. Steven is only the second person to hold the position of Music Director of The New York Pops, which was founded by Skitch Henderson in 1983, and is the largest independent pops orchestra in the United States and the only professional symphonic orchestra in New York City specializing in popular music. The 17th Annual Broadway Unplugged was held at the Merkin Concert Hall last night, October 13.

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Executive Director), dedicated to the development of new musicals and rediscovery of musical gems from the past, presents the Off-Broadway premiere of the acclaimed new musical Midnight at The Never Get, with book, music, and lyrics by Mark Sonnenblick, co-conceived by Sam Bolen, by arrangement with Visceral Entertainment and Mark Cortale Productions. Directed by Max Friedman, with choreography by Andrew Palermo, and music direction/arrangements by Adam Podd, the cast features Sam Bolen, Jeremy Cohen, and Jon J. Peterson. Performances began Tuesday, October 2, 2018 for a limited engagement through Sunday afternoon, November 4, 2018 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).
