Eddie Varley Eddie Varley was most recently seen as one of the stars of the Lifetime Television Series, MATCHED IN MANHATTAN.

On the New York stage he was a cast member of the long running hit musical revue INTO THE WEEDS: The Bill Weeden Songbook at the Laurie Beechman Theater. Eddie received critical acclaim for his role of Jameson in the New York and Los Angeles Productions of Joe Mortimer's GRAPEFRUIT. As a cast member of the New Vic Theatre of London, he toured both the UK and US in their productions of DRACULA, HUNCHBACK and THE CANTERBURY TALES. He spent several Holiday seasons at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino's Showroom Theater headlining with performers such as the legendary Mickey Rooney, Andrea McArdle and John Byner. An accomplished illustrator, his work can be found in the recent McGraw Hill release, WHY HASN'T HE CALLED?

The Los Angeles Times reported that Ahmanson Theatre spokeswoman Nancy Hereford confirmed Tuesday that Marc Kudisch, one of the stars of the musical did, indeed, fall while making a jump from a set piece on Sunday. 'Paramedics were called and the actor was taken to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center and kept overnight for observation. He sustained no serious injury and is back at rehearsals', Hereford explain to reporters.

Broadway's Patrick Page, soon to be in seen in A Man For All Seasons and his wife, star of TLC's Trading Spaces, Paige Davis came out to support Operation Backpack. It is Volunteers of America's annual back-to-school drive that asks the general public to bring new backpacks to designated Drop Locations throughout the city. Over 70 New York businesses participate by engaging employees in backpack and school supply drives. The result is thousands of new backpacks, which volunteers fill with trade-specific supplies during Sort Week and distribute to kids in time for the start of the school year.
