BWW Recap: It's a Rose-Colored World for INTRUDERS
September 20, 2014

“A rose by any other name should smell as sweet.” Shakespeare may have written it, but INTRUDERS creators seem to find an awful lot of inspiration in that quote. For a while now, Qui Reverti members have been name-dropping Rose in almost every conversation. Just to make sure we're aware of how key she is, costume and set designers have thrown bits of red into almost every scene involving a Reverti member (think Madison's backpack). She's obviously a high-ranking member of Qui Reverti, but who exactly is she?

BWW Recap: INTRUDERS Connects Some Very Paranormal Dots
September 13, 2014

Ever been in one of those situations where you run into someone you knew from years ago, and suddenly you learn that they're best friends with your sister's brother-in-law's cousin? That's basically what tonight's episode of INTRUDERS was like. That plus some good, old-fashioned action, peppered with just the right amount of paranormal mystery. You wanted connections? You've got connections. We're at the half way mark in the series, and the previously blurry puzzle of Qui Reverti relationships is finally becoming clearer.

BWW Recap: Time Has Come for INTRUDERS to School Viewers
September 6, 2014

Ice cream, beaches, and lemonade were replaced this week by pencils, textbooks, and desks as Labor Day came and went, signaling the end of summer and the start of a new school year. Supplies were bought, backpacks were filled, and buses were ridden as kids made their way back to class. In solidarity with children nationwide, BBC America decided it's time for INTRUDERS viewers to learn a thing or two as well. Like all good teachers, though, BBC America wants viewers to constantly learn and ask questions, so for every mystery they help us solve, two new mysteries arise. We're almost at the half way mark in the series – time for midterms, if you will – and things are getting even more intense. We need to start studying if we're going to know how to put the whole puzzle together at the end. Let's begin.

BWW Preview: GRACEPOINT Will Keep You Guessing
September 25, 2014

Fox would like to welcome you to Gracepoint, a picturesque village nestled along the northern California coast. Life in this neighborhood is about as average as it gets- all of the residents know each other, and aside from summer tourist action, nothing very out of the ordinary happens here. That is until the murder of a young boy named Danny Solano.

BWW Recap: Coincidences Don't Exist for INTRUDERS
August 30, 2014

Last Saturday, BBC America achieved its highest-rated Saturday evening on record, thanks to “Doctor Who” and a little new show called “Intruders.” The latter's premiere episode, which netted about 1 million viewers in total, was a lot to handle. I get that. But if, like me, you managed to get past (or even, dare I say, enjoy) the convoluted storyline and kitten murders (RIP Loopy), you were likely running to BBC America's website to watch the second episode. Those questions need answering!

BWW Recap: INTRUDERS Premiere Erupts with Mystery and Murder
August 24, 2014

The verdict is in: BBC America has a hit on its hands with “Intruders.” The new paranormal sci-fi thriller, based off of the Michael Marshall Smith novel of the same name, wastes no time launching viewers into the action. While many genre shows (and at it's heart, “Intruders” is very much a genre show) overload audiences with difficult to follow plots and science references that fly over the heads of even the most educated viewers, Glen Morgan and his team manage to walk that fine line between over-complicated and painfully bland, creating an intelligently intricate show that encourages viewer participation…and that is also just plain fun to watch.

BWW Preview: Don't Run Away from INTRUDERS; Series Premiere Saturday
August 23, 2014

Assassins? Abductions? Runaways? Count me in! BBC America's newest paranormal thriller “Intruders” has it all. The show's tagline (“don't let them in!”) may be a bit unnerving, but I'll take my chances and throw caution to the wind during the premiere this Saturday.
