During the week, 'Nightly' saw 7.672 million total viewers, +754,000 more than ABC 'World News,' 6.918 million and +2.561 million more than CBS 'Evening News' 5.111 million. All three newscasts were labeled as specials on Monday for the Memorial Day holiday and are not included in the weekly or season average. Additionally, ABC 'World News' was retitled on Thursday due to preemptions in western markets for coverage for the NBA Finals.
