 A feisty, bingo-playing, gun-toting, ruckus raising, independent woman!  That's Helen Wheeler, the title character in Pigs Do Fly Productions next outing a?' Cricket Daniel's comedy Helen on Wheels.  The show will run from March 6th through March 29th at Empire Stage in Fort Lauderdale.  There will be a preview performance on March 5th.

Production photos have been released from Disney's Beauty and the Beast, the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center and Broadway Palm's final production of their inaugural season. Beauty and the Beast is now playing, and will run through March 8th.

Chasing Jack, the award-winning play by John S. Anastasi, will have its southeastern premiere at the Willow Theatre in Sugar Sand Park this March. The production, to be directed by Peter J. Loewy, will begin previews on March 12th and open on March 14th. The show will run through March 22nd.

The B'nai Torah Cultural Arts Series 2020 theatrical presentation, The Interview will be presented for one performance only on February 26th at 7:30 pm in the Eleanor and Paul Weiner Cultural Center at B'nai Torah Congregation. 

Six-time Tony and Emmy nominee Tovah Feldshuh will return to the Mizner Park Cultural Center on March 28th and 29th for four performances only with her Broadway-bound musical Tovah is LEONA! The show, in which Feldshuh assumes the persona of real estate mogul and hotelier Leona Helmsley, played to sold-out houses in early January.

Kinky Boots, The Lauderhill Performing Arts Center and Broadway Palm's third production of their inaugural season, will open on January 23rd. The multiple award-winning musical will run through February 9th. 

The Princeton Triangle Club, continuing its 129 year tradition of presenting an original student-written musical, will bring the newest Triangle Show Once Uponzi Time, to Palm Beach County's Crest Theatre at Old School Square for one performance only. This musical comedy about the American Scheme, featuring a cast of 22 undergraduates, will be performed on Tuesday, January 28 at 7:30 p.m.

Mizner Park Cultural Center is quickly becoming one of South Florida's 'go to' spots for an exciting and eclectic mix of theatre, music, comedy, and even film. The venue, well-located in Boca Raton's Mizner Park, will play host a wide variety of entertainment in December and January, hosting Broadway's Tovah Feldshuh in a brand new Broadway-bound musical, comedian Jeff Norris, a film about bridge, an evening of romantic music, and the delightful interactive Secret Comedy of Women.  Numerous other performances will take place as well.  

My Son the Waiter:  A Jewish Tragedy is the story of Zimmerman's struggle to fulfill his dream and 'make it' as a comedic actor in New York. His hilarious and poignant saga is universal in its message:  The journey to follow one's dreama?? and the parents who SUFFER through it!  One-part standup, one-part theatrical, and all parts uproarious My Son the Waiter:  A Jewish Tragedy has garnered rave reviews wherever it has played.

Florrie Morgenstern, the founder and creative director, and driving force behind the Spanish River Concert Series passed away this summer.  However, she left a legacy that has benefited South Florida residents for 18 years, and this year's concert series will celebrate the woman whose love of all types of music a?' classical, soul, contemporary, folk, or traditional a?' drove her to create an entity (originally known as Community Performing Arts) that would bring the music she loved to the her Florida community.  Florrie, along with her husband Seymour, grew the concerts from an original audience of 1,500 to their current subscriber list of over 10,000 music lovers.

Once, the winner of eight 2012 Tony Awards including Best Musical, and winner of the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will open at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center (LPAC) on December 5th and run through December 22nd. The musical is based on the 2007 Academy Award-winning film of the same name, which was written and directed by John Carney, and starred Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová, with original music and lyrics by Mr. Hansard and Ms. Irglová.  (The multiple award-winning Once has also won Grammy and Olivier awards.)

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum will run in the Rinker Playhouse from November 23rd through December 8th.

Brad Zimmerman will bring his hit New York Comedy back to South Florida this season in his highly praised autobiographical comedy, My Son the Waiter:  A Jewish Tragedy.  Zimmerman's hilarious and poignant story is universal in its message:  The journey to follow one's dreama?? and the parents who SUFFER through it! The show will run from December 19th through January 12th in the Alan and Diane Lieberman Theater at the Michael-Ann Russell JCC in Aventura.
