The Boca Raton Theatre Guild's production of Neil Simon's Chapter Two, will open on January 8th and run through January 17th at the Willow Theatre in Boca Raton's Sugar Sand Park.

Clavelli, Powers and Burttram have each appeared extensively with Florida Rep, and all three were seen in last season's Dancing at Lughnasa. Clavelli & Burttram make their first appearance of many this season in Opus, while Powers takes his final bow after beginning the season with Boeing-Boeing and Dial 'M' for Murder. Nowicki and Davies each make their second appearance with Florida Rep in Opus. Seen in last season's Art of Murder, Nowicki has worked extensively in film and television, and appeared in Opus with Orlando Shakespeare Theatre in 2008. Mr. Davies, a long-time company member with Cincinnati Shakespeare, is now a Florida based actor who made his Florida Rep debut earlier this season Dial 'M' for Murder.

The Cameron Mackintosh/Really Useful Theatre Company, Inc. production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, directed by Harold Prince, will make a return to South Florida as a major presentation of the 2009-2010 theatrical season when it opens Wednesday, December 23, brings in New Year 2010, and runs through Sunday, January 17. I never imagined that a one man play starring and written by the comedian Billy Crystal, would make me cry more than any other play I have ever seen. It was magic last night as '700 Sundays' opened at the Arscht Center. Within moments of its beginning, Mr. Crystal had us all in the palm of his hand. Heck, I believe he has all in attendance wishing they were part of his family or had at least grown up with him.

Phyllis Spear has appeared in California Suite, Why We Have a Body, Plaza Suite, Lovers and Other Strangers, Rumors, Barefoot in the Park and Social Security. She studies with director Michael Leeds and is a board member of the Boca Raton Theatre Guild.

Michael Frayn is an English playwright and novelist. He began as a reporter for The Guardian and The Observer after graduating college in 1957. His first novel, The Tin Men, was published in 1965 winning him his first of many accolades. His other award winning novels include Headlong, The Russian Interpreter and Spies. Considered to be Britain's finest translator of Anton Chekhov, he adapted four major plays along with several smaller plays for an evening called The Sneeze in London in 1988. Theatrically, Frayn is the playwright for such well received plays including Noises Off, Benefactors, Wild Honey and Democracy.

The concert will feature numbers from the greatest hits of Broadway: 'A Chorus Line,' 'Gypsy,' 'Dreamgirls,' 'Hairspray,' 'Chicago,' 'Guys and Dolls,' 'Damn Yankees,' 'South Pacific,' 'Annie,' 'Man of La Mancha,' 'Les Miserables' and more.
