Ground Up & Rising, Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit professional theatre and film organization whose programming is intended to widen empathetic sensibilities and promote understanding amongst humankind, announced their upcoming production of 'True West' by Sam Shepard. This Miami Beach production is offered as part of Ground Up & Rising's exciting new program, The 'Zero Point' project, a compelling new initiative that aims to build theatre's future audience through bare-bones, bold presentations of incredible theatre.

For the past sixty years, Charles Schulz's iconic characters - Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Sally, Schroeder, and of course Snoopy - have captivated and delighted both children and adults with their poignant, truthful, and joyful antics. Celebrating sixty years of the Peanuts gang and forty years since Clark Gesnero adapted Schulz's characters for the stage, the Main Street Players bring the gang to life on their stage once more.

One of the world's most loved musicals MAMMA MIA!, based on music by ABBA, will run for eight performances, October 25-30, at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach. New Theatre has enjoyed its current intimate space for the last 10 years, but will be moving to continue creating American Theatre history in an alternate location(s). New Theatre's immediate plan calls for their next play to be performed in this space and then to become a traveling theatre for the remainder of the season. At the moment, the Board of Directors and staff are diligently working on finding another intimate theatre space so that they can continue to bring South Florida audiences cutting edge theatre, give voice to new playwrights, give life to new plays and provide a home for local actors and designers. The long-term goal is to have a new permanent home by the beginning of the 2012-2013 season. Venue(s) will be announced shortly.

Under the direction of Orlando Shakes Associate Director of New Play Development, Mark Routhier, two high-strung couples battle each other in a hilarious 90-minute brawl hailed as a 'four-way prize fight' by The New York Times.

Set in the Louisiana bayous, the play explores the struggles of two brothers who walk the line between law and liberty, locked in a fierce tug-of-war for their souls.
