Production photos from the new production of Calendar Girls the Musical have been released. London Theatre Week: Tickets From just £15 for The Ocean at the End of the Lane. From the imagination of Neil Gaiman, best-selling author of Good Omens, Coraline and The Sandman, the National Theatre’s smash-hit production The Ocean at the End of the Lane returns to the West End this October for seven weeks only.

The National Theatre has announced full casting for its highly acclaimed production of Dear England, transferring to the West End this Autumn. This new smash-hit play by James Graham, directed by Rupert Goold, tells the story of the England men’s football team under Gareth Southgate. It will play at the Prince Edward Theatre from 9 October 2023 for a strictly limited 14-week run.

The world premiere of Kay Mellor’s final stage play, The Syndicate, tours the UK for 15 weeks from April to July next year.

The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) has announced that Catherine Mallyon will step down as Executive Director, leaving the Company at Christmas 2023, after eleven years in post. Catherine’s final day will be Friday 22 December.

London Theatre Week: Tickets From £35 for The Phantom of The Opera. Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera has returned to its home, His Majesty’s Theatre London. 

The new musical For Tonight by Shenelle Salcido and Spencer Williams plays a one-night-only staged concert on September 5 at the Adelphi Theatre. Lead producer Blair Russell (Slave Play, Lizard Boy) discusses the often circuitous journey the show, and many shows like it, have faced to make it from an idea on the page to the West End stage.

Over 80 Operation Mincemeat fans watched the show dressed up as characters as part of #OperationInterestingMan, making up almost a quarter of the audience over the Bank Holiday weekend.
