Pete Davidson's coming-of-age film “Big Time Adolescence” has been acquired by Hulu for $4 million, according to Deadline.

One of the most revered figures on the European jazz scene, Swiss trumpeter Franco Ambrosetti has maintained a strong affinity for the music since debuting as a leader in 1965 with A Jazz Portrait of Franco Ambrosetti. Now approaching his 78th birthday in December, Ambrosetti is still swinging after all these years, which is very much in evidence by his latest recording, Long Waves. An all-star session recorded in January, 2019 in New York City, Ambrosetti's 28th as a leader overall and second for the Swiss-based Unit Records features celebrated guitarist John Scofield, pianist Uri Caine, bassist Scott Colley and legendary drummer Jack DeJohnette.Together they interact on an intimate level, displaying remarkable chemistry on seven tracks. 'It was like a constant dialogue,' said Ambrosetti of the empathetic session. 'After one rehearsal, I felt like I had played with this group every night for the last five years.'

London-based, Canadian born artist Rhi has released her new single “It Was Love” today.  Featured on Rhi's upcoming sophomore LP, The Pale Queen, out October 4 via Tru Thoughts, with “It Was Love” Rhi's attention turns to her early exposure to classical music, the impact it has had on her and its ability to evoke the most hidden sides to human nature... “I remember from a young age playing classical piano, I had almost an aversion to major keys. If I was going to learn a song, it had to be a minor key. I always felt more connected to a melancholy song and still do to this day.” This powerful emotional intensity – orchestrated by the likes of Rachmanioff, Chopin and Liszt – to create music that is both romantic and beautiful yet tragically sad and almost angry is something that Rhi channels into the dark intensity of the melancholic track as she explores the fine line between love and obsession.

Indie-rock band Remo Drive has announced Natural, Everyday Extended Play which features two brand new tracks and an alternative version of “Separate Beds” off the band's latest release Natural, Everyday Degradation (May 2019). The new tracks (“Romeo” and “Nearly Perfect”) were originally intended for Natural, Everyday Degradation but the versions recorded in the studio did not fit the album's final sequence. “These songs felt unfinished when we left the sessions so we decided to re-record them when we got home,” notes vocalist and guitarist Erik Paulson, “It was a blast to try our hands at self-producing after a couple of experiences in a studio setting!”
