The Westport Country playhouse has announced that Lewis Cleale will join the previously announced Kate Baldwin in their production of I DO! I DO! The production will run from August 10 to August 28.

The complete lineup for the Bard SummerScape Festival 2010 has been announced. The festival will feature diverse events, including dance, theater, opera and operetta, film, cabaret, and music.

Comedian Lisa Lampanelli will appear at New York City's Beacon Theatre on December 10 at 8pm, the Theatre has announced.

Lin-Manuel Miranda and his hip-hop/rap group, Freestyle Love Supreme, will perform at New York's Gramercy Theatre at 7pm on August 5. Miranda founded the group at Wesleyan University along with Bill Sherman, Anthony Veneziale, and Thomas Kail; others joined the group in New York. In performance, Freestyle Love Supreme uses words supplied by the audience in order to create new rap songs.

Anne Hathaway will star in the film version of David Nicholls' novel 'One Day,' the Associated Press's Edwardsville Intelligencer reports. The story deals with a romance between a working-class woman (Hathaway) and a rich man (Jim Sturgess).

The Getty Villa of Los Angeles will present an exhibit, 'The Art of Ancient Greek Theater,' in conjunction with its production of Sophocles's ELECTRA, the Los Angeles Times reports. The exhibit, which will run from August 26, 2010 to January 3, 2011, is decribed by the Getty Villa as 'the first exhibition in the United States in over 50 years to focus on the artistic representation of theatrical performance in ancient Greece.'

Actress Joanne Whalley has joined the cast of the upcoming Showtime series 'The Borgias,' The Hollywood Reporter reports. Whalley will play Vanossa, a former courtesan and the mother of the Borgia children. She joins the previously announced Jeremy Irons, Derek Jacobi, Colm Feore, Francois Arnaud, David Oakes, and Holliday Grainger.

Musical theater songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul will appear at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival on June 25 and June 26, the Festival's official website announces. Actress Shoshana Bean will perform with them. They will also conduct a masterclass in songwriting, featuring local performers, on June 26. Tickets for the concert range from $19.95 to $44.95; tickets for the masterclass are $19.95.

Composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz will appear at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival on June 23 at 6:30pm, the Festival announced on its official site. Singers will perform numbers written by Schwartz. Tickets will range from $31.95 to $49.95. While in Australia, Schwartz will also perform in Sydney and Tasmania. Actress Shoshana Bean will appear at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival from June 25 to June 26, the Festival's official site announces. The Festival has announced that Bean will close the festival and will perform soul music with her musical director and local musicians. In addition, while in Australia, Bean will perform in the Harvest Rain Theatre Company's Broadway to Brisvegas Series on June 23.

Geoffrey Rush, who played Captain Hector Barbossa in the three previous 'Pirates of the Caribbean' films, will play the role again in 'Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides,' deadline.com reports.

'Breaking Dawn,' the final installment in the popular 'Twilight Saga' of books and films, will be broken into two separate films, deadline.com reports. The first half of 'Breaking Dawn' will be released on November 18, 2011; production on the film will begin in fall 2010.

Actor Eddie Redmayne, who is currently giving a Tony Award-nominated performance in RED on Broadway, will star as Albert in Steven Spielberg's upcoming film 'War Horse,' contactmusic.com reports, based on information from The Playlist. The film is based on a 1982 children's novel by Michael Morpungo, which deals with the relationship between Albert and his horse, Joe, who is sold to the army during World War I. The book has also been made into a play, which was recently produced in the West End and is to transfer to Broadway.

Toni Collette, David Tennant, Colin Farrell, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Anton Yelchin will star in a remake of the 1985 film 'Fright Night,' produced by DreamWorks, the Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision blog reports. The film deals with a teenager (Yelchin) who believes his neighbor (Farrell) to be a vampire. Collette will play the protagonist's mother, while Tennant will play a magician who claims to be an expert on vampires. Mintz-Plasse will play a friend of the protagonist who joins the vampires.

Harry Connick, Jr, who appeared on 'American Idol' this season to mentor finalists, has called Simon Cowell's ability to judge contestants on the show into question because Cowell himself is not a musician, contactmusic.com reports.

In Sunday night's closing performance of A BEHANDING IN SPOKANE, Martin McDonagh's new play starring Christopher Walken, a burning candle failed to stay lit, the New York Post reports. In the play, Walken's character covers characters Toby and Marilyn (played by Anthony Mackie and Zoe Kazan, respectively) in gasoline and leaves them in a room with a candle burning in a can of petrol. However, at Sunday's performance, the flame went out. The problem was soon fixed by a stagehand, for whom the audience applauded enthusiastically, the Post reports. The event was widely discussed at the play's closing party, held at the restaurant Gansevort 69.

Marina Semyonova, former prima ballerina of Russia's Bolshoi Theater and later a teacher, has died at 102, the New York Times reports. Her best-known roles included Odette-Odile in 'Swan Lake,' Nikiya in 'La Bayadere,' Princess Aurora in 'Sleeping Beauty,' and Raymonda in the ballet of the same name. The Bolshoi announced Semyonova's death.
