ABC's “The View” averaged 3.180 million Total Viewers, 617,000 Women 25-54 and 414,000 Women 18-49 during the week of January 23, 2017, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “The View” led CBS' “The Talk” (2.823 million, 522,000 and 361,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+357,000), Women 25-54 (+95,000) and Women 18-49 (+53,000), posting its largest overall viewer advantage in over 4 months – since w/o 9/5/16.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and “Late Night with Seth Meyers” have won the week of Jan. 23-27, outrating their ABC and CBS time-period rivals in every key measure – adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers -- according to “live plus same day” ratings from Nielsen Media Research.

For the month of January 2017, MSNBC racked up the most growth for total viewers in cable news across key dayparts. MSNBC outpaced the competition in total day M-Su 6a-6a (+53% vs. CNN's +37% and FNC's +45%), M-F prime 8-11pm (+62% vs. CNN's +34% and FNC's +27%), and dayside M-F 9am-5pm (+60% vs. CNN's +36% and FNC's +48%).

NBC and NBCSN will combine to present six NHL and college hockey matchups this week, including a pair of games featuring the NHL-leading Washington Capitals, beginning tomorrow at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN when Alex Ovechkin and the Caps host Brad Marchand and the Boston Bruins on Wednesday Night Rivalry.

“This Is Us” has earned the #1 ranking for the ratings week of Jan. 23-29 in the key demographic of adults 18-49, according to “live plus same day” viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research. It's the third time this season “This Is Us” has rated #1 among entertainment programs on the broadcast networks.

Powered by the series' launch of “Mickey and the Roadster Racers,” the 24-hour Disney Junior channel ranked #1 for the 46th consecutive month in Total Viewers (544,000), Kids 2-5 (234,000/1.5 rating) and Boys 2-5 (109,000/1.4 rating) – every month since reporting public ratings on April 1, 2013 – for the 43rd consecutive month in Girls 2-5 (125,000/1.6 rating) and for the 44th straight month in Women 18-49 (118,000/0.2 rating), towering over Nick Jr. by double digits (+12% to +40%) and Sprout by triple digits (+304% to +436%). Overall, the Disney Junior channel reached 35.9 million Total Viewers during January 2017, including 16.0 million Kids 2-8 and 15.0 million Adults 18-49.

The Highlighter Reading Series: New Plays / New Media, is raising $11,000 for this exciting new production.  The fundraiser is raising money to film a pilot to pitch, as a series, to various media outlets like PBS, Hulu, Amazon, etc.  Artistic Director Christian Haines (Shotz, Winner at NYC Fringe Fest) has partnered with Producing Artistic Director Mark Vashro (Sundance Grand Jury Prize for “Thunder Road”, Bike Against the Wind) to bring this series to life.
