“Dateline NBC” on Fridays topped ABC's “20/20” across the board for the July 2017 sweep period, averaging 4.6 million total viewers and outperforming “20/20” by +963,000 (+27%). “Dateline” also won the A25-54 demo, averaging 1.4 million A25-54 viewers, leading ABC by 144,000 (+12%). This is the broadcast's biggest July sweeps win over “20/20” in total viewers and A25-54 since 2013.

Winning among the Big 4 networks for the fifth week in a row in adults 18-49, NBC has also captured the ratings week of July 17-23 in total viewers, households and all other key demos, paced by its popular programming that includes “America's Got Talent,” “World of Dance,” “American Ninja Warrior,” and “The Wall.”

ABC's “The View” averaged 2.590 million Total Viewers, 403,000 Women 25-54 and 295,000 Women 18-49 during the week of July 17, 2017, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “The View” beat CBS' “The Talk” (2.429 million, 398,000 and 267,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+161,000), Women 25-54 (+5,000) and Women 18-49 (+28,000).

According to Nielsen, MSNBC ended the week of July 17-21 as the #1 cable network for all weekday prime, averaging 2.34 million viewers, ahead of FOX News at 2.25 million. MSNBC was previously #1 in cable news in weekday prime during the weeks of May 15, 2017 (behind TNT) and September 3, 2012 (behind USA) among total viewers, but this was the 1st time MSNBC was #1 among all of cable.
