THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT and THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN both notched their largest weekly audiences in more than six months, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Sept. 30.

Brainfeeder Films has announced today that musical legend George Clinton, and comedians Byron Bowers and Anders Holm have joined the cast of acclaimed and celebrated music artist Flying Lotus' feature film debut KUSO. The film, which Flying Lotus is directing, is Brainfeeder's first feature film and will be produced by Eddie Alcazar.

FOX has ordered THE F WORD, a bold new food variety show from award-winning chef and series host Gordon Ramsay. Based on his hit U.K. series of the same name, each distinctive and fast-paced hour will combine good food and good cooking with Ramsay's passion, energy and humor into a one-of-a-kind LIVE series. THE F WORD is scheduled to premiere in 2017 on FOX.

Damon Gupton has joined the cast of CRIMINAL MINDS as a series regular. His character will be introduced in this season's eighth episode, on the CBS Television Network.

FOX News Channel (FNC) will present special live programming of the upcoming vice presidential debate between nominees Democratic vice presidential nominee Senator Tim Kaine and Republican vice presidential nominee Governor Mike Pence on October 4th from Longwood University.  Coverage will be available on FNC, as well as on additional platforms, including FOX News Radio, FOX News Mobile and FOXNews.com, where the debate will livestream for free without authentication.

Direct from London and an international tour, Complicite's acclaimed production of The Encounter, conceived, directed and performed by Simon McBurney, opens tonight at Broadway's John Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street). Two critically acclaimed new Wednesday series, “Speechless” and “Designated Survivor,” have been given full-season pickups, Channing Dungey, president, ABC Entertainment, announced today. Nine additional episodes of both series, from Twentieth Century Fox Television and ABC Studios, and The Mark Gordon Company and ABC Studios respectively, have been ordered. 

AMC announced today that Jared Harris (Mad Men, The Crown) has been cast as the lead actor in the networks' anthology drama series, The Terror, an adaption of the bestselling novel by Dan Simmons. David Kajganich (True Story, A Bigger Splash) and Soo Hugh (The Whispers, The Killing) are serving as executive producers, writers and co-showrunners with Scott Free, Emjag Productions and Entertainment 360 producing the series in association with AMC Studios. Production begins this winter in Budapest with the 10 one-hour episodes, set to premiere in 2017.

Showbiz 411 has reported that the lead of the upcoming A Star Is Born remake, Lady Gaga, may compose an entire album of new material for the movie.

The Skirball Cultural Center presents the L.A. debut of the 'live documentary' The Love Song of R. Buckminster Fuller on Thursday, November 10, at 8:00 p.m. In a one-night-only engagement, taking place in an intimate 300-seat venue, the screening will feature Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Sam Green narrating the film in person while the acclaimed indie rock band Yo La Tengo performs their original score. Described by author and Harper's Magazine contributing editor Rebecca Solnit as 'a movie being born as you see it and hear it, as alive as music,' the documentary traces the career of twentieth-century futurist, architect, inventor, and author R. Buckminster Fuller (1895-1983), who experimented for fifty years to find out what a single person can do on behalf of humanity.
