THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT delivered 2.79 million viewers, up +13% from the same week last year, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Dec. 16. Tuesday's broadcast, with guests Mark Wahlberg, Lee Daniels and Miranda Lambert, scored the week's largest audience with 3.19 million viewers.

Pre-production has started on the horror film Darkest Night. From writer Michael Sean Erickson's book of the same name, this feature will star: Bill Oberst Jr. (Stressed to Kill), Robert LaSardo (Anarchy Parlor), Noel Gugliemi (Basement Jack), and Mykayla Sohn (The Chosen). As well, part of the cast will produce the film, including: Oberst Jr. and LaSardo, along with Shaun Gerardo and Michael Sean Erickson. NBC will commemorate the 90th birthday of one of America's most treasured musical icons, Tony Bennett, with the two-hour special “Tony Bennett Celebrates 90: The Best Is Yet to Come,” on Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Atlantic Records / Warner Music Nashville duo HIGH VALLEY will appear on CBS This Morning on Tuesday, December 20 in a special segment taped at home in middle Tennessee. CBS correspondent Jan Crawfordsits down with the sibling duo – brothers Brad and Curtis Rempel – visiting the restored farmhouse where they wrote music for their just-released album Dear Life and sharing the inspiring story of finding success by remaining true to yourself.
