The world premiere of the long-awaited Jim Steinman's Bat Out of Hell - The Musical will take place in London's West End at the London Coliseum, opening on Tuesday 20 June 2017, following previews from 5 June, for a limited season until 22 July 2017. This follows previews at Manchester Opera House from 17 February to 8 April 2017.

Freeform announced today fans can vote to bring a special screening of the season two premiere of the hit series "Shadowhunters" and the first episode of new original series "Beyond" to their hometown this December. Cast members from both series will be in attendance at the screening. 

SHOWTIME has released the first teaser for season six of its Emmy and Golden Globe-winning hit drama series HOMELAND, which will premiere on Sunday, January 15 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Season six is currently in production in New York, after spending the last two seasons shooting abroad in South Africa and Berlin.  HOMELAND stars Emmy, Screen Actors Guild® and Golden Globe Award winner Claire Danes, Emmy nominee Rupert Friend, acclaimed stage and screen actress Elizabeth Marvel, Oscar® winner and Emmy nominee F. FOX is announcing premiere dates for new series THE MICK (special premiere Jan. 1; time period premiere Jan. 3), STAR (special premiere Dec. 14; time period premiere Jan. 4), MY KITCHEN RULES (Jan. 12), 24: LEGACY (two-night event beginning Feb. 5, following SUPER BOWL LI, and continuing on Feb. 6) and APB (Feb. 6); and returning series BONES: THE FINAL CHAPTER (Jan. 3), SLEEPY HOLLOW (Jan. 6) and MASTERCHEF JUNIOR (Feb. 9). In addition, NEW GIRL moves to its new Tuesday night time period (8:00-8:31 PM ET/PT), beginning Jan. 3. HELL'S KITCHEN moves to Thursdays, beginningJan. 5, with two all-new back-to-back episodes (8:00-9:00/9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). The series then premieres in its regular time period Jan. 12 (8:00-9:01). ROSEWOOD moves to its new Friday night time period (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), beginning Jan. 6.

"3-D Auteurs," a 19-day, 34-film festival spotlighting stereoscopic movies by some of history's most distinguished directors, will run at Film Forum from Friday, November 11 through Tuesday, November 29. The festival spans 3-D's earliest days (including some turn-of-the-century films by pioneer Georges Melies) to the present, and represents virtually every genre, including Westerns, Film Noir, and Science Fiction.

A young man sets off to find J.D. Salinger and confronts love, sex and loss in the touching coming-of-age drama COMING THROUGH THE RYE, arriving on DVD December 27, 2016.  The film arrives on Digital HD and On Demand December 13.

Bron Media Corp.'s genre label The Realm will produce the sci-fi thriller PARALLEL in association with Creative Wealth Media. The film, to be directed by Isaac Ezban from a screenplay by Scott Blaszak, will begin production mid-November in Vancouver.

Signature Theatre presents the world premiere production of Disney's Freaky Friday. Developed by Disney Theatrical Productions expressly for licensing to theatres, Freaky Friday features a book by Bridget Carpenter, music by Tom Kitt and lyrics by Brian Yorkey. This premiere production will be directed by Christopher Ashley with choreography by Sergio Trujillo. Freaky Friday runs now through November 20 in Signature Theatre's MAX Theatre.  The show received its opening night this week and Broadway World has all the reviews as they roll in. 

SHOWTIME has released the poster art and a new “presidential” teaser for its live election special, Stephen Colbert's Live Election Night Democracy's Series Finale: Who's Going To Clean Up This Sh*t? The special is a partnership between The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and SHOWTIME, featuring Emmy® and Peabody® Award-winning late night host Stephen Colbert. New comedy THE MICK will premiere on Sunday, Jan. 1 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT), following the NFL doubleheader on FOX. The series will then make its time period premiere with an all-new episode Tuesday, Jan. 3 (8:31-9:01 PM ET/PT).
