A.A. Cristi is a Managing Editor and Features Writer for BroadwayWorld. For the past eight years, she has covered news from coast to coast, attended major industry events including The Tony Awards, and has contributed countless special features including interviews, original exclusives, and in-depth historical research projects. She is a graduate of the College of Staten Island with a degree in Communications/Journalism. She has performed both onstage and behind the scenes with La MaMa Experimental Theater Club, Theater For the New City, Midtown International Theater Festival, Richard Frankel Productions, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Scorpio Entertainment, Commercial Theater Institute, Fringe NYC, Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, and CAGE Theatre Company. When she is not covering the Broadway industry, A.A. is an award-winning children's author whose first book, "Bruce the Spruce: A New York City Fairytale About the True Meaning of Christmas Trees" is out now from Mascot Books.

RLJE Films has acquired all North American rights to the upcoming horror film All the Creatures Were Stirring. Written and directed by David Ian McKendry (The Dump) and Rebekah McKendry (The Barista), known for their amazing work at Fangoria and Blumhouse, the film stars Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians, "Fresh Off the Boat"), Amanda Fuller ("Orange is the New Black"), Jonathan Kite ("2 Broke Girls"), Jocelin Donahue (Insidious: Chapter 2) and Graham Skipper (The Mind's Eye).  RLJE plans to release the film on VOD, Digital and DVD on December 4, 2018.

Baron Walker, featured in the award-winning documentary MILWAUKEE 53206, has received parole and was released today in Milwaukee, after serving more than 22 years in a Wisconsin prison, Odyssey Impact announced today. Walker grew up in zip code 53206, which incarcerates the highest proportion of African American males in the nation – up to 62% have been imprisoned by age 34. His plight and more are explored in the thought-provoking film by <>—the production company affiliated with Odyssey Impact—which uses personal stories to take an intimate look at the crisis of mass incarceration and the devastating toll on families and communities. For the past year, Odyssey Impact has conducted a social justice impact campaign around the film, holding hundreds of screenings with an array of partners in order to engage with various communities and inspire social change.
