2013 Helpmann Award Nominations to Be Announced in Six Cities, June 24

Live Performance Australia (LPA) have confirmed that the nominations for the 2013 Helpmann Awards will be announced simultaneously at events in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart and Perth. This is the first time the Nominations events are being held in 6 different cities and a first for Adelaide, Hobart and Perth.

Cameron Goodall will host the Nominations Event in Adelaide as well as giving a very special live performance. Further presenters will be Larissa McGowan, Nathan O'Keefe, CarMel Johnson, Jude Henshall and Eugene Gilfedder.

In addition the Brian Stacey Memorial Trust will announce the winner of the Brian Stacey Award for Emerging Australian Conductors. The winner will be presented with an $8,000 prize.

The announcement will take place on Monday, 24th June 2013 at 5:30 p.m. at the Piano Bar, Festival Theatre Foyer, Adelaide Festival Centre, Festival Drive, off King William Rd, Adelaide.

The 2013 Helpmann Awards will be presented live in Sydney at SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE on Monday 29th July hosted by Eddie Perfect and Christie Whelan Browne, and broadcast on Foxtel's Arena.
