Nominated for a BBC Music 2024 Chamber Award, the Calidore String Quartet is recognized as one of the world’s foremost interpreters of a vast chamber music repertoire. Beethoven’s bright early quartet opens this program, and the Montero premiere is followed by Dvoák’s Piano Quintet, one of the greatest works of the genre, capturing his Czech heritage in a rich tapestry of melodies and dances.
