German pianist Elisabeth Brauss is quickly establishing herself as one of the most versatile musicians of her generation. She appears regularly at London’s Wigmore Hall, has performed with the Finnish Radio Symphony, The Hallé, BBC Symphony, BBC Scottish Symphony, and in 2021 made her debut at the BBC Proms. This season she will make her Spivey Hall debut.
Ms. Brauss shows her command of a vast range of repertoire, with Bach’s early Capriccio, Beethoven’s farewell sonata on the eve of Napoleon’s invasion of Vienna, the rarely heard last fantastical work of Schumann, and Prokofiev’s “Stalingrad” sonata of 1943.
