Westchester Broadway Theatre to Hold Audition for 'It's A Wonderful Life' 11/10

Westchester Broadway Theatre (WBT) in Elmsford, New York, will be holding non-union children's auditions for their upcoming production of A Wonderful Life, a musical adapted from the Frank Capra film It's A Wonderful Life. Auditions will be held at the theatre on Wednesday October 15 at 4:00pm. Rehearsals begin on November 10, 2008. The show opens November 20, 2008, and runs through February 8, 2009.

The children's roles will be double cast. WBT is seeking to fill the roles of Beth Bailey (age 9 - 11 with a pleasant singing voice, 4'11" or under),  Tommy Bailey (age 7 - 9 with a pleasant singing voice, 4'11" or under) and Zuzu Bailey (age 5 - 7 with a pleasant singing voice, 4'7" or under). Actual age does not matter but height requirements are firm. Each child will be photographed and measured prior to their audition.

Children who do not meet the height requirements will not be auditioned. Those auditioning should bring sheet music for the song they plan on singing, an accompanist will be provided.
