This year's Tony nominees transported us with the magic of theatre, and we're saluting their work by taking a closer look at their extraordinary accomplishments. Today we're studying up on Camille A. Brown!

The Show: Choir Boy
Up Against: Warren Carlyle (Kiss Me, Kate), Denis Jones (Tootsie), David Neumann, (Hadestown), Sergio Trujillo (Ain't Too Proud)
Did You Know?: Camille is the only choreographer in her category who created movement for a play as opposed to a musical.
Camille on Choir Boy: "I have so much gratitude to Trip Cullman, the director, and also the young men of Choir Boy because they just gave their spirits and their hearts and it was really an opportunity for them to shine and pull out their individuality even though it is about a community, it's also important for the individuals to come out too. So it was really wonderful throughout the process to slowly see their individuality come out and what they did onstage I just thought was wonderful."
