And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Roma Downey, who turns 55 today!

Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Downey made her Broadway debut in 1989's The Circle. She is well known for her role as the angel 'Monica' in the TV series Touched by an Angel, and as 'Mary' in The Bible (which she also executive produced). She and her husband Mark Burnett later produced a movie version, Son of God; its sequel, A.D.: The Bible Continues, premiered this Easter on NBC. Downey has written three children's books and also produces the children's series Little Angels.
