Nixon last starred on Broadway in The Real Thing. Her past credits on the Great White Way include Wit, Rabbit Hole (which won her a Tony in 2006), The Women, The Last Night of Ballyhoo, Indiscretions, Angels in America, The Heidi Chronicles, Hurlyburly and The Philadelphia Story. She recently directed Rasheeda Speaking off-Broadway. The actress is well known for her role as 'Miranda Hobbes' on Sex and the City and has appeared on the big screen in Amadeus, The Manhattan Project, Let It Ride, Baby's Day Out, Warm Springs, Little Manhattan, The Babysitters and Rampart, as well as the Sex and the City movies. Among her other TV credits are The Big C, World Without End, Alpha House and Hannibal.
