And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Alan Campbell, who turns 58 today!
Campbell is best known for his role as 'Sam Carmichael' in Broadway's Mamma Mia!, which just announced a fall 2015 closing after more than a decade. The actor has also starred on Broadway in Contact and Sunset Boulevard, the latter for which he received a Tony nomination in 1995. Campbell just appeared in Manhattan Concert Productions' Parade at Lincoln Center and also took the stage in off-Broadway's Adrift in Macao in 2007. Among his film credits are Weekend Warriors, Bump in the Night, Tom, Dick and Harry and A Simple Wish opposite Martin Short. Campbell has also appeared on TV in Jake and the Fatman, Three's a Crowd, the webseries Submissions Only and more.
