And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Alan Cumming, who turns 51 today!
Cumming, who is currently on tour with his 'SAPPY SONGS' show, last starred on Broadway in CABARET. Before that, he appeared in MACBETH, THE THREEPENNY OPERA, DESIGN FOR LIVING, and as 'Master of Ceremonies' in Roundabout's original reimagining of CABARET. He won the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical in 1998 for his portrayal. He also took the stage in CABARET in the West End in the early '90s and has also appeared in London in HAMLET, ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF AN ANARCHIST, BENT and THE BACCHAE. Among his off-Broadway credits are THE SEAGULL and ELLE. The Emmy-nominated actor currently stars on TV in THE GOOD WIFE. He hosted last year's Tony Awards ceremony alongside Kristin Chenoweth.
