Breaking News: ALADDIN Will Launch National Tour in Chicago

Disney Theatrical Productions has announced that Aladdin will launch its North American tour in Chicago. The 12-week engagement begins performances at Broadway in Chicago's Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph Street, Chicago, IL 60601) on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 and plays through Sunday, July 2. Future engagements and casting information will be announced in the coming months. Reservations for groups of fifteen (15) or more are now being accepted by calling (312) 977-1710. Beginning March 2016, Broadway In Chicago subscribers will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to the production. Single ticket on-sale for the general public will be announced at a later date. Produced by Disney Theatrical Productions, Aladdin features music by Tony Award® and eight-time Oscar® winner Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Newsies, Sister Act), lyrics by two-time Oscar winner Howard Ashman (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid), three-time Tony Award and three-time Oscar winner Tim Rice (Evita, Aida) and four-time Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin(The Wedding Singer), with a book by Beguelin, and is directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon). Scott Taylor is the Associate Director and John MacInnis is the Associate Choreographer.
