LaChanze currently stars opposite Idina Menzel in Broadway's If/Then. Her past Broadway credits include The Color Purple, for which she won a 2006 Tony Award, Ragtime, Company, Once on This Island, Dreamgirls and Uptown...It's Hot! LaChanze also appeared in the Actors Fund of America benefit concert of Funny Girl in 2002 and Encores! The Wiz in 2009. She most recently appeared on the big screen in Side Effects and The Help.
