WHAT YOU MISSED YESTERDAY:

Broadway Weather Forecast: High of 69 degrees and partly cloudy all day; low in the high 50s tonight.

Quote of the Day: Composer Marketa Irglova on ONCE being adopted in new ways...

Making something and sending it out into the world and then people not only responding to it but adopting it for their own and making a separate thing for it, that's beautiful. It just shows you how much you can affect other people... the butterfly effect of everything you put out into the world.
-- Marketa Irglova (via BrainyQuote)

What we're watching: The film version of Stuart Brayson and Tim Rice's epic new musical FROM HERE TO ETERNITY screens in the US, beginning tonight! Check out BWW's review of the album here.

And finally, a Happy Birthday shout-out to Sting, who turns 62 today!

Sting wrote the music and lyrics for the new musical THE LAST SHIP, premiering on Broadway this season. Sting is best known as the lead singer/songwriter for The Police. His work with the band and as a solo artist have earned him 16 Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe, an Emmy and several Oscar nominations for Best Original Song. Sting, who has 11 solo albums and 5 with The Police, has sold over 100 million records worldwide.
